Jeffrey Polnaja is a traveler, storyteller, and motorcycle rider whose journey has taken him far beyond the borders of his homeland. Through years on the road, he has crossed continents, entered remote regions, and encountered people, cultures, and landscapes that have shaped the way he sees the world.
His journey, Ride for Peace, was once described by ADVMoto Magazine, a well-known motorcycle adventure magazine in the United States, as “The Impossible Journey.” What began as a solo motorcycle expedition gradually became a long personal journey of endurance, observation, and connection across borders.
Jeffrey has also published two books based on his travels: WINDRIDER in Indonesian and The Impossible Journey: Hidden Diaries of Asia in English. Through his writing, he records not only the distance he has covered, but also the human stories, challenges, and reflections gathered along the way.
Today, Jeffrey continues to share his experiences through stories, photographs, and reflections from the road. His work brings together adventure, humanity, and the belief that travel can open a wider understanding of the world and the people who live in it.
For Jeffrey, the road has never been only about distance. It is also about the places that challenge him, the people who welcome him, and the stories that remain long after the journey moves on.
